We help you manage your tech vendor relationships through their full life cycle. We help manage issues and risk as they arise to keep your contracts on track and vendors performing well and bring or defend claims where needed.
Our tech lawyers are skilled at all forms of ADR (including mediation), in domestic litigation (e.g. trials in the English Technology and Construction Court), cross border litigation and international arbitration under all the main arbitral and ad hoc rules.

We help resolve IT suppliers’ claims for large sums in respect of software audits and licence agreement or copyright disputes opposite multinational software vendors. These claims frequently arise from issues such as indirect access, the interconnection of systems and databases, and/or the put this use of robotics.
We have conducted market-leading court trials of these types of claims and have a strong history of successfully resolving such claims via ADR, often significantly reducing and even eliminating the multi £millions claimed.
Our support extends beyond a formal claims' environment. We work with you and your technical teams to proactively assess compliance with software licence terms and put in place mitigation arrangements ahead of any audit. For example, we support on the redesign of their IT architecture to prevent or, at least, mitigate the risk of future claims, as well as considering future licensing needs as part of any negotiations with software vendors.
