The expansion of Addleshaw Goddard in the Kingdom mirrors the speed of transformation across the country. Since our launch in the Middle East in 2012, we have expanded to four offices throughout the region, including our latest addition in Riyadh.

Our Riyadh office was established in December 2023 with five partners: Christian Both, Homam Khoshaim, Amar Meher, Alex Sarac, and Ibrahim Siddiki. Together, they bring decades of experience in the Kingdom.

The team in Riyadh offers international expertise gained by working on complex and ground-breaking multi-jurisdictional transactions combined with deep-rooted local law experience. Clients include banks,  financial institutions, government entities and government related entities as well as multinationals and public and private corporates with interests in the Kingdom.

Leveraging our extensive regional footprint, all our lawyers are highly regarded in their specialist fields and focus on providing practical, often innovative deal structures, and efficient legal solutions that help our clients succeed.

Each of our Corporate M&A, Finance, Projects and Restructuring teams include attorneys licensed to practice in the Kingdom as well as other international jurisdictions. Most notably, our finance and restructuring practice is renowned for being the go-to team for debt restructurings and structured financings with our team acting on a number of the market leading deals in Saudi Arabia. In the Middle East, we operate as one practice across the region which means clients in the Kingdom also benefit from the expertise we offer in areas as diverse as technology, data and disputes.
