Simon is broadly experienced in commercial and corporate litigation as well as in general contractual disputes. Throughout his career, Simon has represented clients of various sectors (e.g. Advanced Manufacturing, Digital, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services and Retail & Consumers) within a wide range of litigation proceedings. 

He also advises domestic and international clients on corporate law, capital market aspects as well as commercial and transactional matters. This includes ongoing advice to corporate bodies, the preparation and conduct of shareholders’ meetings.

Education

Simon studied law at the University of Hamburg (Germany) with a focus on economic analysis of law. Within his two-year legal training (Referendariat) at the Higher Regional Court of Schleswig (Germany), during which he worked at Regional Court of Lübeck, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Transport and Innovation in Hamburg (BWI) and two international law firms in Hamburg and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), he focused on corporate and commercial law, as well as on litigation. Simon also successfully completed the specialist lawyers’ training course and exams in commercial and corporate law (Fachanwalt für Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht).

After his admission to the Bar in 2017, Simon worked for two large international law firms in Hamburg before joining Addleshaw Goddard in 2020.
