Arran is a corporate lawyer based in the UK.  She advises on corporate transactional matters, specialising in private M&A and private equity in the energy sector.  Arran has extensive experience in the oil and gas service sector and more recent experience in the renewable and sustainable energy sector.  She also has experience in the food and drink and transport sectors, with many of her transactions having an international and cross-border aspect.  She has been recognised as a "Rising Star" in the Legal 500 for several years running.

Arran's recent work includes:

• acting for the shareholders of Subsea Technology & Rentals on their sale to Baird Capital, which was shortlisted as "SME deal of the year" at the Scottish Business Insider Awards
• acting for an energy ventures company in its acquisition of a social housing heat pumps financing company
• acting for James Fisher and Sons plc in various acquisitions and disposals over the last 15 years
• acting for EV Private Equity in its sale of Fotech Solutions, a fibre-enabled data solutions business in the energy services sector, to BP plc, involving a multi-jurisdictional group reorganisation as a condition to the sale of the business
• acting in a complex multi-jurisdictional group reorganisation, as a condition to the c$4bn sale of a North American bus business
