Expertise

Nicholas Henrikson is a Managing Associate in our Commercial Disputes team, based in Muscat. He advises on commercial litigation and arbitration matters across a wide range of industries, primarily focusing on construction and infrastructure sectors. 

Nicholas has acted for principals and major contractors in disputes including extensions of time, delay claims and contract termination issues. He also has extensive experience defending construction professionals in respect of professional negligence claims. 

Additionally to litigation practice, Nicholas also represents clients in alternative dispute resolution forums and advises on non-contentious matters including procurement, risk and insurance issues.  

Prior to joining Addleshaw Goddard, Nicholas has practiced in Brisbane office of a top-tier Australian law firm.  While practising in Australia, he was a senior member of the team acting in some of the largest construction adjudication claims submitted in his home state.  He has experience in advising on construction projects across the Asia Pacific region and the Gulf.  Nic currently serves on the executive of the Australian Oman Business Group.
