Hannah is a Managing Associate in commercial disputes. She is dual-qualified in Scotland and England & Wales. She advises clients in both the public and private sectors on a wide range of contentious matters including public procurement disputes, complex contractual disputes and real estate disputes
Hannah conducts complex high value litigations in the Court of Session. She also manages cross-border disputes and has experience dealing with proceedings in the High Court of Justice in London.
Hannah has experience appearing in Sheriff Courts across Scotland and the First-tier Tribunal for Scotland (Housing and Property Chamber).
Recent experience includes:
- Acting for a bidder client pursuing a multi-million-pound damages claim against a contracting authority for breaches of procurement law and unlawful means conspiracy
- Defending a contracting authority against a public procurement challenge regarding a multi-million-pound contract to operate an energy from waste facility providing crucial waste and energy services to three Council areas
- Successfully defending the Department for Transport in public procurement claims relating to an alleged unlawful contract award (£32m) to provide a new ticketing platform
- Conducting high value (£100m) proceedings for breach of contract/negligence relating to the depositing of hazardous waste at a landfill in breach of the environmental regulator's permit
- Conducting high value proceedings for professional negligence relating to drainage design issues at an airport in breach of the environmental regulator's enforcement notice
- Conducting high value proceedings for professional negligence relating to drainage design issues at an airport in breach of the environmental regulator's enforcement notice
