We cover all areas of sports law which has led to our involvement in many of the world's most significant sporting events including The Olympics, the FIFA World Cup, the Commonwealth Games to the Paralympics and the Rugby World Cup.

We bring a genuine understanding of current sports business issues derived from practical, hands-on experience through our close relationships with a number of high profile governing bodies, clubs and brands involved in the sports sector.

Clients and experience

The Group acts for major sports governing bodies, clubs, sponsors and broadcasters. We have particular experience in football where we act for The Football League and FIFA.

We have advised on governing body regulations and constitutional matters for governing bodies including the establishment of the Indian Premier League, and the Football League as well as the implications of the banning of third party ownership of players in football.

Our work includes the large sponsorship deals for football clubs in world football, as well as working alongside sponsors in relation to a number of Europe's leading clubs.
