Expertise

Nina is partner with more than 21 years of experience in the areas of corporate law and M&A. She advises on M&A transaction with a focus on cross-border transactions, corporate reorganisations, joint ventures and shareholder conflicts. Nina often advises companies in the technology sector (and in particular in connection with data centres) and life sciences sector.

She started her career in 2002 working for Hengeler Mueller in Düsseldorf. After eight years in a mid-sized law firm in Munich and a secondment with Travers Smith in London she was one of the founding partners of the Pinsent Masons office in Munich in 2012. She joined Addleshaw Goddard in 2023.

  • Advising an international technology group on the acquisition of two German entities and in a post-M&A conflict
  • Advising a NASDAQ listed technology client on investments in and acquisitions of German entities
  • Advising a listed UK client in the life science sector on its sale of its German activities
  • Advising a pharma association on the sale of shares to a global media group
  • Advising a listed energy sector client on shareholder disputes in a joint venture
  • Ongoing advice to the European practice of a US investment bank and an M&A boutique on their engagement letters

Nina is co-editor and author of one of the leading commentaries on the German Transformation Act (Semler/Stengel/Leonard), regularly publishes articles on corporate law and has also published a book and articles on the UN Convention on International Sales of Goods.
