Expertise

Amy is a Managing Associate in the Corporate practice team based in the Firm's Dubai office. She specialises in cross border and international corporate transactional work, including acquisitions, disposals, group reorganisations, joint ventures, private equity and general corporate governance matters, and has experience advising international corporations, financial investors and private equity houses, in addition to individuals and management.

Prior to joining Addleshaw Goddard, Amy spent ten years working at a large international law firm, working in the UK, Dubai and Luxembourg offices. Prior to qualification, Amy also spent a significant amount of time in the United Arab Emirates in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, spending six years working in private practice for a leading global firm and in house at Visa International and Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation.

Amy’s experience (whilst at her previous firm) includes:

  • Advising Beech Tree Private Equity on its multi-million-pound exit of a telecommunications business after advising on several successful acquisitions to support growth over the previous five years.
  • Acting for the shareholders of Grass Roots Holdings Limited on its sale to NASDAQ-listed Blackhawk Network Holdings, Inc.
  • Acting for Experian on the sale of its international retail intelligence business, FootFall, to Tyco.
  • Advising Kering on a significant business and asset sale to a well-known retail buyer.
  • Advising Eaton Industries on several international reorganisation projects across 20+ jurisdictions.
  • Advising American Express Global Business Travel on a global post-acquisition integration project across 30+ jurisdictions.
  • Amy also completed a client secondment to Rolls-Royce plc, being described as 'supremely organised, diligent and a polished professional.'
