Laura has expertise in handling a wide range of contentious matters, including breach of contract, professional negligence and defamation cases, as well as disputes involving companies, shareholders, and partnerships.
Laura has previously advised clubs, players, national governing bodies and agencies, particularly within the football industry. She is also a proud member of Women in Football.
Laura's expertise in managing high-profile and high-value cases has seen her represent notable clients such as Michael Vaughan in proceedings brought by the England and Wales Cricket Board relating to Yorkshire County Cricket Club & Others. Additionally, she acted for the Commonwealth Games Federation regarding the cancellation of the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Laura’s practice also extends to medical negligence cases, where she represents both claimants and defendants. These cases cover issues such as birth injuries, surgical negligence, and cosmetic surgery claims. She further specialises in consumer protection, acting on behalf of major cosmetics companies and healthcare providers.
Laura joined Addleshaw Goddard in April 2025 after 3 ½ years with Brabner's Litigation team.
