Addleshaw Goddard hires Charles Connesson to strengthen its transaction and bank finance capabilities

Charles Connesson joined the Finance department headed by Julien Bacus as a Managing Associate and will work together with the firm’s other practices.

Charles Connesson has significant and recognised expertise in banking and finance and is mainly involved in acquisition finance, leveraged finance and syndicated finance transactions, but also in real estate finance, bond issues and private placements. He advises a diverse French and international clients such as financial institutions (including regional and local banks), investment funds, major groups and mid-cap firms. Charles advised several financial institutions in various M&A transactions financed by Term Loan B-type bank debt.

He also took part in some takeovers and private acquisitions financing for several large cap companies (including Capgemini, Verallia and InVivo).

In addition, Charles advised some French and foreign investment funds on several unitranche bonds’ setting up for various issuers.

Charles Connesson holds a Master 2 in Business Law (University Paris Ouest Nanterre) and is a member of the Paris Bar since 2017. He worked in prestigious French and US law firms before joining Addleshaw Goddard.
