Michał is a UK-qualified Counsel. He advises international corporates and financial sponsors on a range of corporate matters, including private and public M&A, equity investments and joint ventures across a broad range of sectors including renewable energy, infrastructure and technology.
- Experience
- Pegasus Airlines on the €154m acquisition of Czech Airlines and its subsidiary Smartwings.
- ING Bank Śląski, the Polish unit of Dutch bank ING Groep: advising on its acquisition of the remaining 55% stake in Polish asset management company Goldman Sachs TFI, taking its ownership to 100%. The transaction is widely reported as the largest in the asset management sector in Poland.
- Advising Mirova, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers and a leading French asset manager, on its investment in GreenWay, the largest and most advanced EV charging network in the CEE.*
- Advising EBRD on its €75m investment in R.Power, an independent power producer based in Poland, mostly engaged in the large-scale solar projects, with renewables portfolio in Poland and other European Union markets, including Romania, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal.*
- Advising Cornerstone Investment Management, one of the CEE’s leading private equity investment management firms on the acquisition of Ecowipes, a leading European manufacturer of wet wipes.*
- Advising Siemens Healthineers on its acquisition of part of a Novartis business that specialises in radioactive chemicals used for cancer scans.*
- Advising Aristocrat on its acquisition of Roxor Gaming Limited, the leading independent UK-based iGaming content supplier.*

Michal holds an undergraduate degree in Law from the University of Aberdeen. He also graduated from Durham University with an LLM in International Trade and Commercial Law.
