- Advising the syndicate of financiers on the refinancing of the conventional and Islamic facilities in relation to the Muscat Bay Project, Muscat.
- Advising the lender on OMR 86 million term loan and working capital facilities to a large, Government backed, Omani company.
- Advising a cross-border syndicate of lenders on the USD 220 million refinancing of a large hotel development project in Oman.
- Advising the financier on USD 87 million Islamic financing facilities provided to local shipping companies for the financing of 3 ships.

Liam is an Associate in AG’s finance practice in Oman. Liam is a Scots Law qualified solicitor holding a Bachelor of Law with Honours from the University of Edinburgh and a Diploma in Profession Legal Practice from the University of Aberdeen. Liam advises lenders and borrowers on a broad range of domestic and cross‑border financing transactions in Oman, Qatar and the Middle East region.
His experience spans bilateral and syndicated facilities, with a particular focus on corporate lending, project finance and real estate finance. He has acted for a wide range of clients including clearing banks, sponsors, property developers and investment funds, and has assisted with and led on transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
