Charlotte is a Partner in the Commercial team at Addleshaw Goddard.
Charlotte specialises in advising on major technology and outsourcing projects for FTSE100 and FTSE250 and equivalent clients and in payments matters, working for banks, payment processors and technology companies on transactions covering a range of payments solutions. She also advises clients on their approach to using AI and Generative AI (with experience of a range of use cases covering in-house and customer facing solutions) alongside advice on general IT and commercial contracts, including software development contracts and software licensing agreements.
Charlotte works with clients across a range of sectors but has a particular focus on the Financial Services sector.

- Advising a major bank on a renegotiation of an agreement with a technology provider relating to the development and implementation of a platform underpinning its banking-as-a-service offering.
- Advising multiple clients across a range of sectors on AI adoption – including supporting with internal governance policies, drafting template clauses covering the use of AI systems by suppliers and by clients in the delivery of services.
- Advising a major bank, FTSE 250 client and a number of other clients on their procurement of business critical services from Microsoft, including Microsoft Generative AI Services.
- Advising a major retailer in connection with the re-platforming of its global websites and the introduction of a new online trading offering.
- Advising a major retailer in connection with the build and global roll out of an Epos solution across an estate of over 350 stores and 11,000 point of sale devices.
- Advising a major bank in connection with a software development, licence and support deal with a value in excess of £100m in connection with a receivables trading platform.
- Advising a FTSE 250 client on a major Oracle Retail implementation, including negotiating an SI services agreement valued in excess of £50 million and over 20 related subcontracts.
