harlotte is a Senior Paralegal in our Construction and Engineering team, based in Qatar. Charlotte has five years of experience working in the legal profession assisting with non-contentious and contentious construction matters, including international arbitration, adjudication, mediation, and litigation.
Prior to joining Addleshaw Goddard, Charlotte worked at a regional law firm as a Trainee Chartered Legal Executive (Construction) assisting with construction adjudications and mediations and intervention activity for the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) in the event of the closure of legal practises due to breaching SRA standards and money-laundering regulations.
Charlotte has experience assisting our Corporate department in the UK, where she was involved with M&A deals, acting for buy-side and sell-side and assisted with numerous Initial Public Offering (IPO) transactions.

- Assisted with a multi-million dollar ICC arbitration regarding a government backed entity concerning the design and construction of a major transport project in Qatar.
- Assisting in preparing claims submitted in relation to a high-value mixed-used development project in the UAE with a view to commencing arbitration proceedings.
- Assisting on an arbitration relating to an energy facility in the UAE.
- Assisted with the procurement of a major hotel in London
- Drafted ancillary documents based on JCT standard forms for building contractors, property developers, and sub-contractors
Corporate
- Assisted with the IPO verification process of the GENinCode IPO to the AIM, which listed on the London Stock Exchange with a market capitalisation of £42.2 million
- Assisted with advising Palatine Private Equity on the acquisition of Estio Training to global education provider, BPP Education Group
