Tahsin has advised on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including:
Advising on and managing employment tribunal claims, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, wrongful dismissal and holiday pay.
- Drafting employment contracts, directors' and senior executives' service agreements, consultancy agreements, staff policies and handbooks.
- Advising and conducting settlement negotiations, including senior executives, and drafting and negotiating the terms of settlement agreements.
- Advising on performance management, sickness absence, disciplinary procedures, grievance, flexible working requests, sexual harassment investigations and other day-to-day HR queries.
- Advising on the employment law implications of corporate transactions (share and asset purchases), conducting due diligence exercises and drafting and negotiating indemnities and warranties.
Tahsin was also a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Law where he taught on the LPC and SQE courses.
