Tahsin is an Associate in the Employment Team based at our Leeds office. Tahsin joined Addleshaw Goddard in July 2024.

Tahsin has experience advising clients in a number of sectors, including local government, education, charities, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, retail, energy, recruitment, IT and fintech. 

Experience

Tahsin has advised on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including:

Advising on and managing employment tribunal claims, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, wrongful dismissal and holiday pay.

  • Drafting employment contracts, directors' and senior executives' service agreements, consultancy agreements, staff policies and handbooks. 
  • Advising and conducting settlement negotiations, including senior executives, and drafting and negotiating the terms of settlement agreements. 
  • Advising on performance management, sickness absence, disciplinary procedures, grievance, flexible working requests, sexual harassment investigations and other day-to-day HR queries.
  • Advising on the employment law implications of corporate transactions (share and asset purchases), conducting due diligence exercises and drafting and negotiating indemnities and warranties. 

Tahsin is also a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Law where he teaches on the LPC and SQE courses.
