Addleshaw Goddard named UK Law Firm of the Year at Legal Business Awards

Addleshaw Goddard (AG), the London-headquartered international law firm, has been named Law Firm of the Year at the 2026 Legal Business Awards.

Announcing AG as UK Law Firm of the Year, Richard Ayoade, who hosted the Awards, said it goes to "a firm that has been delivering record growth, with revenue and profits climbing for nine consecutive years as it has invested in new offices internationally and in the UK". 

Further commenting on the accolade, Andrew Johnston, Managing Partner of Addleshaw Goddard, says:

Addleshaw Goddard was additionally shortlisted in the Capital Markets Team of the Year, Competition Team of the Year, IP Team of the Year and Private Clients Team of the Year categories, highlighting the range of quality and expertise across the firm. 

This is the fourth Law Firm of the Year title the firm has won at major legal awards programmes in little over two years. It closely follows Addleshaw Goddard being ranked the second Most Innovative Law Firm in Europe and winning the Innovative Lawyers in AI, Digital Regulation and Technology title at the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Awards Europe last week.

AG launched its 22nd office in Amsterdam on 1 July, following openings in Warsaw and Abu Dhabi in 2025 and has relocated to a flagship headquarters in London, and prime new premises in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Riyadh within the past 12 months. The firm delivered record financial performance for the year ended 30 April 2026, growing revenues and profits by 17%.
