EXPERTISE

Jakub is a trainee advocate at Warsaw Bar Association. He graduated from Jagiellonian University and earned an LL.M. degree at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He specialises in corporate law and M&A transactions. His professional experience includes advising on Polish and international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, as well as day-to-day corporate issues.

Work highlights*

  • Cerberus Capital Management: advising on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of VeloBank, a leading bank in Poland.
  • InfraVia Capital Partners, a private fund specialised in the infrastructure and technology sector: advising on the acquisition of 50% of iliad Group’s interest in Polski Światłowód Otwarty sp. z o.o. PŚO is Poland’s biggest open access broadband network, that owns the UPC network infrastructure.
  • NREP, the leading Northern European real estate investor managing assets worth more than €19bn: advising on the acquisition of an 80% stake in 7R S.A., one of Poland’s largest logistics developers for the total investment amount of approx. €200m.
  • ArcelorMittal: advising on the acquisition of ZPZ Złomex S.A. and its subsidiaries, a Polish scrap metal recycling business.
