EXPERTISE
James is a Managing Associate in the Commercial Disputes team.
He has experience of acting on a broad range of disputes, including contractual disputes, claims arising out of competition infringements, and public inquiries.
James' recent experience includes:
- Advising the Road Haulage Association in its collective action in the Competition Appeal Tribunal arising out of the Trucks Cartel
- Representing two large construction and utilities companies, in relation to Grenfell Tower, in the criminal investigation, public inquiry and the handling of any civil claims
- Defending a US based company in an IT dispute with outsourced provider of software development services.
- Defending follow on damages claims brought against the NKT group of companies in the High Court.
