Addleshaw Goddard advises medtech firm Qufora on acquisition of UK business Rapidcare

International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has advised the Danish medtech company Qufora on its acquisition of Rapidcare, a Dispensing Appliance Contractor (DAC) in the UK.

Rapidcare is specialised in the fulfilment of prescriptions for medical devices and related services issued by GPs and specialist prescribers, with a strong reputation for reliable home delivery to patients in the community supporting a wide range of chronic healthcare needs. 

Qufora and Rapidcare have enjoyed a strong strategic partnership for many years with Rapidcare providing the Qufora Direct service. The acquisition marks the next step in Qufora’s continued growth momentum and long-term strategic investments in the British healthcare market. Ultimately, it enhances the two companies’ well-established collaboration – strengthening their ability to support patients and further reinforcing their shared commitment to increase patient care.   

The Addleshaw Goddard team advising on the deal was led by Partner Murray Jack and included Gavin Smith, Helena Brown, Catherine Gallanagh, Heather Gibson, Saarla Reddy, Kelly Brown, Lauren Hill, Mark Crane, Karoline Phillips and Nathan Corr. The acquisition by Qufora Ltd of Rapidcare (The Koppa Company Ltd) was completed on 29th August 2025.
