Addleshaw Goddard advises Valsoft Corporation on acquisition of majority stake in Klopotek

A cross-border team from international law firm Addleshaw Goddard has advised Canadian Valsoft Corporation Inc. on its acquisition of a majority stake in Klopotek, a German industry leader in ERP solutions for the publishing industry.

The acquisition of Klopotek is a strategic addition to Valsoft's existing portfolio, offering a leading international software solution and latest services for publishers in the dynamic publishing market. Valsoft will integrate Klopotek in its Aspire Software division and leverage Aspire's existing market presence to further strengthen Klopotek's global position through further growth.

Headquartered in Montreal, Canada, Valsoft Corporation specializes in acquiring and developing vertical market software companies. Valsoft's philosophy is to invest in well-established companies and elevate them to become a leader in its respective industry.

Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Berlin, Klopotek is the international market leader for publishing software. Its customer base includes over 400 large multinational publishing groups as well as small and mid-sized publishers in over 140 locations worldwide.
