International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has expanded its market leading Global Investigations team into the Yorkshire market with the appointment of Leeds based Legal Director Adrian Mansbridge from TLT.

Adrian, who will be joined by newly qualified associate India Haresign, is a regulatory specialist dealing with the compliance and contested aspects of various regimes which attract criminal and disciplinary sanctions.

His expertise includes providing compliance advice and responding to investigations and prosecutions within the health and safety, food safety and hygiene, fire safety, product safety and environmental sectors. Adrian also has extensive experience advising and defending companies and industry bodies on Trading and Advertising Standards matters.

Nichola Peters, Head of Global Investigations, said: "As the unlimited fine regime has taken hold, companies are becoming increasingly exposed to public enquiry and investigation, leading to an increase in demand for the high quality expertise of our Global Investigations team."

"The expansion of our team into the Yorkshire market will enable us to better meet this demand and serve our clients in the region and beyond, and Adrian's in depth knowledge of regulatory law will be a huge asset to our team as we continue to grow."

Addleshaw Goddard's Global Investigations and Financial Crime Compliance team is a market leading practice specialising in a diverse range of matters including AML, fraud, corruption, sanctions and extradition, as well as leading health and safety and regulatory investigations against a number of regulators including FCA, the FRC, and the SRA.
