Emma is a senior member of the Restructuring team who advises on a wide variety of corporate restructuring and finance matters, working for a number of clients, such as the major clearing banks, asset based lenders, insolvency practitioners and corporates.  Relevant experience and recent deals include:

  • Advising Terra Firma and the Wyevale Garden Centre Group on the sale of its garden centres and the orderly wind down of the group 
  • Advising a PLC client in relation to a complex financial restructuring involving considerations around the impact on the defined benefit pension scheme
  • Advising the administrators of J Rotherham Masonry Limited in respect of the realisation of the company's assets and administration matters generally
  • Advising a major clearing bank in relation to the impact of proposed CVAs for a number of the bank's high street retail customers and consequential facility amendments
  • Advising the administrators of Styles & Wood Limited in relation to the realisation of assets in the UK and in Dubai
