Expertise

Adina is an associate in the Debt Capital Markets team. She has experience acting for a diverse range of clients, including banks, investors (such as pension and insurance funds), building societies, and corporate entities, in their capacity as either issuers or syndicate leads, as applicable. Additionally, Adina has advised trustees in relation to various liability management and trustee discretion exercises. Prior to joining Addleshaw Goddard, Adina trained and qualified at another international law firm, where she focused on debt capital markets. Her expertise includes handling a wide spectrum of cross-border transactional and regulatory matters, such as the establishment and renewal of EMTN programmes, and public (listed on the Main Market, ISM, TSIE, LuxSE, Euronext) and private securities offerings.

Experience

Adina's experience includes:

  • Advised dealers on various programme establishments (for issuers such as Southern Housing, Sanctuary, Bromford, Orbit, Blend, and Hyde), programme updates (for issuers such as Leeds Building Society, LiveWest, Notting Hill, Peabody, Platform, and Stonewater), and various programme drawdowns and retained note sales.
  • Advised the sole bookrunner on a £140m tap bond issue by Citizen and the consequent sale of the retained bonds.
  • Advised investors such as Pension Insurance Corporation, Phoenix, Sun Life, and M&G in relation to various private placements.
  • Advised companies on issue of loan exchange notes listed on TSIE.
  • Advised M&G as note trustee and security trustee in relation to issuer's substitution, change of listing and the allocation and de-allocation of charged property

Prior to joining, Adina advised major Canadian banks in relation to various EMTN, Structured Notes, and Covered Bonds programme updates, as well as various public and private securities issues.
