EXPERTISE

Joanna is a lawyer with over 5 years of experience in the real estate advisory. She participated in legal due diligence project, including examination of lease agreements and matters concerning legal title to properties, construction law, spatial development law and contract law matters. She also took part in transactions involving comprehensive legal advice, in particular concerning office buildings, warehouses and logistics centres, shopping centres, as well as PRS developments. Her expertise includes preparing contracts and transactional documentation for sale and acquisition matters, representing both local and international investors.

Work highlights*

• INVESTIKA and BUD Holdings: advising on the acquisition of a logistics portfolio in Poland from 7R for over €150m. The 212,500 sqm portfolio comprises five logistics parks. This acquisition marks the largest logistics transaction completed in Poland and the second largest in Central Europe in 2024.
• Develia: advising one of Poland’s largest developers on the €100m acquisition of the Polish subsidiaries of Nexity, the leading French developer. With the acquisition, Develia increased the number of residential units under construction by ca. 1,400, and its land bank by ca. 2,200 units, in Warsaw, Kraków and Poznań. 
• W. P. Carey: advising on the acquisition, in a sale and leaseback formula, of 123 Żabka retail stores in Poland's high-traffic urban areas. Żabka is a leading convenience store chain in Poland.
• Nrep: advising on the acquisition of an 80% stake in 7R, one of Poland’s largest logistics developers. Nrep invested approximately €200m into the company. 
• NEPI Rockcastle: advising on the €373m acquisition of the Magnolia Park shopping centre from Union Investment. Magnolia Park, located in Wrocław, is one of Poland's top ten shopping centres. The acquisition is the largest single-asset shopping centre transaction in Central and Eastern Europe in recent years.
