Anna is an Associate in the Disputes team with experience in a range of financial and commercial disputes. Anna advises on a range of contentious matters including acting for clients in contractual disputes; financial and insolvency disputes; professional negligence matters and real estate disputes.

Anna has experience in acting for banks, insolvency practitioners, commercial organisations and private individuals.

Anna appears in Sheriff Courts across Scotland on behalf of clients and has experience in instructing Counsel in the Court of Session.

Anna also benefits from having spent six months on secondment to global investment company and asset manager, abrdn, sitting within the team providing legal support to transactional colleagues.  

Anna's experience includes:

• Successfully acting in defending RBS in a Court of Session action by borrowers who sought to reduce two substantial Personal Guarantees on the basis of misrepresentation.
• Acting for a commercial bank across a large portfolio of debt recovery actions and calling up proceedings.  
• Acting for a corporate development client in a professional negligence action against a firm of solicitors for failure to properly register property title documents.
• Experience in acting for both private individuals and commercial organisations in relation to property disputes involving both sheriff court actions and the Lands Tribunal.
