Lincoln is a Managing Associate in Addleshaw Goddard’s corporate team based in London.   

Lincoln has advised on a range of corporate transactions, including private and public mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and restructures. He has acted for listed issuers, corporates, major institutional investors and private equity sponsors across a broad range of sectors – particularly the financial services and energy sectors.

Prior to joining Addleshaw Goddard, Lincoln was a member of the corporate teams of two leading New Zealand law firms.

Experience
  • Contact Energy, a major NZ electricity retailer and generator, on its NZ$2.3 billion acquisition of Manawa Energy, another significant NZ electricity generator.
  • Igneo Infrastructure Partners on the parallel sale of Clarus’ gas transmission, distribution and storage assets to funds controlled by Brookfield and Clarus’ electricity distribution network to Powerco.
  • BGH Capital and Sixth Street on their NZ$1.5 billion acquisition of NZX and ASX-listed payment systems provider Pushpay Holdings.
  • Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation on New Zealand aspects of its A$4.13 billion purchase of the global asset management business of Commonwealth Bank of Australia (now known as First Sentier).
  • Chemist Warehouse on New Zealand aspects of its merger with Sigma Healthcare to establish pharmaceutical group with a valuation of approximately A$34 billion.
