Alongside the investment, Ampere has acquired PlumResearch, an independent data company that provides insights to the global entertainment industry. Plum, a specialist in streaming audience analytics, has a 20-strong team providing audience measurement and analytics using large-scale audience panels across 75 markets.

The Addleshaw Goddard team advising on the deal was led by Corporate Partners George Danczak and Robbie Hay and included Phil Wallbank, Francesco Rosso, Rachael Martin, McLean Wickham and Callum Campbell. The firm’s Corporate team in Warsaw featuring Magdalena Szewczyk, Lukasz Czerepak, Lena Murawska, Marcelina Slugocka, Daria Wojciechowska, Monika Krzyszkowska and Lukasz Burakowski, advised on the PlumResearch deal.

George Danczak said: “We are delighted to have supported Ampere Analysis on this significant dual transaction, bringing in a new investment partner while simultaneously strengthening its capabilities through the acquisition of PlumResearch.
