Kate qualified into the Real Estate Team in 2020, and since then has helped to advise a diverse range of clients including institutional landlords, investors/developers, pension funds and oil companies. Kate has developed a solid understanding of many aspects of property law by helping to advise on the property aspects of large-scale energy and development projects and electric vehicle development sites in addition to advising occupiers and landlords and tenants in real estate litigation proceedings.

Kate's recent experience includes:
- Sale of Solar, Wind and Biomass Energy Projects – working as part of the Real Estate Energy Team with the sale of multiple wind, solar and bio-mass energy projects.
- District Heating Networks - working as part of a team to advise a developer client with a complex district heating network transaction involving multiple counterparties.
- Development Schemes - working as part of a team to advise ENGIE on its development schemes.
- Energy from Waste Schemes - assisting with advising a key client of the Firm in connection with their investment into various energy from waste schemes.
- Solar and Battery Options for Leases – working as part of the Real Estate Energy Team to advise developers and JV clients in relation to the property aspects of their investment into options for leases for onshore solar and battery sites.
- Electric Vehicle Charging Sites – working as part of a team to advise a key client of the Firm in connection with their EV charging infrastructure nationwide.
- Forward Funding Projects - assisting with a £15m forward funding deal for a Fund which included a corporate element.
- Property Sales - handling a £14m property sale through to completion for a leading client of the Firm.
- Real Estate Management - Advising a variety of institutional landlords with vast property portfolios, advising on estate management matters and issues such as 1954 Act lease renewals, arrears disputes and dilapidations claims.
