Mannan is an Associate based in our Real Estate team in Manchester, with 4 years of strong real estate experience gained as a Paralegal and Trainee Solicitor. Mannan was previously a trainee at Trowers & Hamlins LLP, where he gained solid exposure to Banking & Finance, Corporate, and Commercial matters, including a six-month secondment to the Abu Dhabi office, acquiring commercial experience across the Gulf jurisdictions.
- Experience
- Advised commercial property developers, public bodies, vendors and institutional investors on acquisitions, disposals and asset management matters, including drafting reports on title, disclosures for certificates of title, negotiating leases, licences, easements, variations and transfers.
- Acted for both landlords and tenants on a variety of leasehold matters, developing the ability to analyse issues from both sides of a transaction.
- Proficient in title due diligence and all aspects of post-completion work, including Land Registry applications, SDLT calculations and submissions, title reviews, and resolving requisitions.
- Acted as a key point of contact for a national transport client across several Development Consent Order processes, co-ordinating responses as an interested party and managing documentation across multiple UK infrastructure projects.
- Experience in planning and infrastructure consenting, including supporting on the drafting and negotiation of s.106, s.278 and s.104 agreements and preparing planning due diligence for multiple acquisition and development sites.
