Addleshaw Goddard has advised Beijing Construction Engineering Group International (BCEG International) on their funding of a new £200m mixed use scheme in Manchester City Centre.

The 1.43 acre plot known as St Michael's, which is located between Jackson's Row, Bootle Street and Southmill Street, will be developed into a mixed use scheme, comprising offices, bars, restaurants, apartments and a five star hotel.

Addleshaw Goddard advised Chinese state-owned BCEG International on its joint-venture with Singaporean-based Rowsley alongside Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs development company The Jacksons Row Developments Ltd. The team was led by partners Mike O'Connor and Nancy McGuire, alongside Ben Peecock, Tony Berry and Rob Thompson.

Mike O'Connor stated: "It’s great that our Manchester team have been involved in securing further funding for this development, which will help in the continuation of growth for the city region and showcases why Manchester is becoming a hub for foreign investment."
