Chris joined Addleshaw Goddard as a newly-qualified solicitor in in September 2019. Whilst training, Chris mostly undertook corporate and commercial work for heavily-regulated public sector and private sector organisations, and continues to advise heavily-regulated businesses in the health, energy and transport sectors. Recent experience includes:

  • advising a number of NHS Foundation Trusts on alternative delivery models, including subsidiary companies and LLPs, including associated governance arrangements and service contracts to deliver services such as estates and capital projects, innovation and management of intellectual property and pharmacy
  • supporting the delivery of a number of new and refurbished train stations, working on all projects aspects, in particular funding and public law and commercial issues
  • a three-month secondment with the in-house legal team of a big six energy business, dealing with a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial matters
  • assisting a local authority with the funding aspects of a number of affordable housing developments
  • acting for a central London-based independent hospital group on its commercial agreements to secure the resilience of its clinical services
