Expertise

Alessandra advises national and international private and public sector clients on all aspects of energy law. Her clients include power and gas providers, network operators, energy producers, property developers and energy-intensive companies.

Her practice focuses on energy regulation, energy generation, procurement and energy cost optimisation, contract law and energy efficiency requirements.

Alessandra assists her clients in developing renewable energy projects, navigating transactions, handling regulatory proceedings, and resolving disputes in court.

Education

After training as an estate agent, Alessandra studied law at the Humboldt University in Berlin. During her studies, she worked as a student trainee in a Berlin law firm specialising in energy law.

She completed her legal traineeship in the district of the Brandenburg Higher Regional Court (Potsdam), working for the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (Department of Energy Policy - Electricity and Networks) and for an international law firm in San Francisco. During her traineeship, Alessandra also worked as a research assistant in the energy law practice group of an international law firm in Berlin, where she also worked as a lawyer after her second state examination in 2018.

Alessandra joined Addleshaw Goddard as a lawyer in January 2024.
