Małgorzata is a trainee attorney-at-law at the Warsaw Bar Association (Polish: Izba Adwokacka w Warszawie). Her expertise encompasses intellectual property law, IT law, healthcare law, consumer protection law, cybersecurity and data protection.

Małgorzata offers comprehensive advice on legal due diligence and transactions related to intellectual property rights (patents, trademarks, designs, copyrights, know-how, Internet domains), IT, data protection, cybersecurity and healthcare regulations. Her professional experience includes advising clients across diverse sectors, including medical, banking, financial, telecommunications, technological, fintech, media, e-commerce, marketing and real estate. She has advised on matters relating to data protection (GDPR, ePrivacy), IT agreements and cybersecurity.

Work highlights include:

  • Resi4Rent: advising on the sale of 18 completed residential rental projects in Poland to Vantage Development, part of TAG Immobilien Group. The transaction, valued at approx. €575m, is the largest ever recorded in Poland’s institutional Private Rented Sector (PRS). The portfolio comprises 5,322 units across Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Gdańsk, Łódź, and Poznań.
  • InfraVia Capital Partners: advising on entry into exclusive discussions with the Iliad Group to form a partnership aimed at developing a major European hyperscale data centre platform in scope of Polish aspects, including IP and data protection matters.*
  • Oaktree Capital Management: advising on the sale of its stake in a company renowned for providing financial services and technology solutions to investment funds, banks, and insurance companies, and a brokerage house specialising in depositary services for closed-end investment funds in scope of IT, IP and data protection matters.*
  • Cerberus Capital Management: advising on consumer protection law related to the acquisition of 100% shares in VeloBank S.A., a Polish universal bank, and its subsidiaries.*
  • A leading multinational electric utility company: advising on the implementation of whistleblower procedures in scope of data protection matters.*
  • A leading multinational automotive group: providing guidance on the Polish aspects of the acquisition of specific segments of the financial services business by its subsidiary, through local asset deal transactions, with a focus on intellectual property matters.*
  • A leading Polish manufacturer and supplier of advanced information and communication systems: advising with regard to the sale of a business in Poland.*
  • A leading multinational oil and gas company: advising on direct and digital marketing strategies.*

Training delivered

Intellectual Property Rights in M&A Transactions – University of Warsaw (Faculty of Law and Administration), "IP Lab" project. Co-delivered an interactive workshop covering the types and stages of M&A transactions and common IP issues arising in such deals, including a transactional case study in which participants identified IP-related legal risks and proposed solutions in groups. Co-delivered with Daria Wojciechowska and Marcelina Sługocka.
