Expertise

Valerio serves as a managing associate within the asset management group based in Dubai and provides guidance to global asset managers regarding the structuring, formation, and ongoing management of private investment funds that pursue a diverse array of strategies, such as buyout, credit, infrastructure, hedge, and venture.

Valerio offers advice to both sponsors and significant institutional investors on a comprehensive range of issues within the investment funds sector, including fund formations, primary investments, continuation funds, and co-investments across a wide spectrum of asset classes.

Previously, Valerio was part of the investment funds practice at a US law firm in London, and before that, he acquired experience with Luxembourg fund structures while working at an independent law firm in Luxembourg.

Advised Incus Capital regarding Incus European Credit Fund IV, with a fund size of EUR 650 million.
Advised a U.S. private equity asset manager on the establishment of its inaugural private equity fund in Europe.
Advised a U.S. private real estate investment firm on the creation of its targeted EUR 1.3 billion European sale and leaseback fund.
Advised a New Zealand fund manager on the development of its Master and Feeder infrastructure fund structure.*
Advised a UK fund manager on the establishment of its fourth targeted EUR 600 million real estate debt fund.*
