Robert is a Legal Director in our Real Estate Group based in Dublin. A highly skilled and experienced Lawyer, Robert advises on all aspects of Real Estate Law and has a proven track record of managing complex property transactions. More recently, Robert's focus has been on the retail, food & beverage, and leisure sectors. He has advised small operators, franchisees and investors on Irish property law, commercial leases, real estate finance and restructuring.  Relevant experience includes advising

• Advised on real estate elements of a corporate transaction that saw the sale of Shorecal Limited, the largest Domino's franchise business in Ireland, Domino's Pizza Group (DPG) for €90 million.
• Acting for international restaurant chain on their direct entry into the Irish market and the opening of their new restaurant in Dublin City Centre.
• Conducted due diligence and acted on the acquisition by a large investor group of eight retail parks and shopping centres. On-going management post-acquisition included the leasing of units, negotiating and varying terms of existing leases and surrenders. 
• Negotiated and drafted commercial lease agreements for Irish restaurant operator.  
• Advised hotel group on real estate elements of a multi-million-euro refinance and the sale of one of its marquee hotels
