Expertise

Will is Corporate Debt partner based in the London office. He has 17 years’ experience in London and Singapore advising both lender and borrower clients on complex cross border financings. In addition to his core practice, Will has advised on a range of complementary areas, including restructurings, margin loans/portfolio financings, and private credit transactions.

He has spent time on secondment in the debt finance teams at two leading UK banks and in the Singapore office, each with a previous firm.

Experience

advising a major international retailer on its GBP3 billion term and RCF facilities provided by a syndicate of over 40 banks
acting for a major Eastern European energy business on its USD200m margin loan provided by various international banks and secured against shares in two listed energy companies
advising the mandated lead arranger on over USD500m term loan facilities for a major listed European construction business
advising a major UK clearing bank as mandated lead arranger on an up to GBP700m term loan facility for a major Japanese car manufacturer
advising a leading US investment bank on its USD460m secured bridge financing (and subsequent bond take out) for the acquisition of an Eastern European mobile operator.
