Expertise

Dima is an associate in the Competition team based in London advising clients in all areas of competition law. Dima has represented clients in a diverse range of industries, including energy, automotive, and agriculture. 

Prior to joining AG, Dima worked for the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), where he was responsible for the delivery of complex Phase 1 and Phase 2 UK merger reviews across various industries. Prior to the CMA, Dima worked as an associate in a Finnish law firm, representing clients in various competition matters.

Experience

Dima's recent experience includes:

  • investigating the anticipated merger between NVIDIA and Arm as a part of Phase 1 and Phase 2 CMA case team 
  • investigating the anticipated merger between Cargotec and Konecranes as a part of Phase 1 CMA case team 
  • investigating the anticipated merger between Shanghai Kington Technology Limited and others, and Perpetuus as a part of Phase 1 CMA team
  • assisting a global agribusiness in the merger control proceedings at the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority and the European Commission, securing conditional Phase I clearance before the European Commission
  • representing a train operating company in a matter concerning alleged unfair pricing and other pricing regulation before the Finnish Rail Regulatory Body against a state-owned railway monopoly, resulting in the state-owned railway monopoly taking corrective measures
