EXPERTISE
Marcelina is a trainee attorney-at-law with experience in intellectual property, privacy and technology law, as well as corporate law. Her professional experience spans compliance, contractual, and transactional matters for international and local clients across a range of sectors.
Marcelina’s experience includes advising on intellectual property, new technology law, data protection law, and corporate law. She has participated in negotiations of IP and IT agreements for clients from diverse sectors, including IT, e-commerce, railway, aerospace industry, defence and security, finance, energy, and video games. Additionally, her experience encompasses trademark infringement matters. Marcelina conducts numerous due diligence reviews of companies in various sectors such as e-commerce, IT (companies delivering big data, cloud, analytics, and ML/AI solutions), gaming, health, finance, telecommunication, and real estate, covering all IP, IT, and data protection aspects.

- Proservice Finteco: advising the portfolio company of Oaktree, a leading global private equity sponsor, on the TMT and IP aspects of the acquisition of a transfer agent business from one of the leading banks in Poland.
- Investika Real Estate Fund: advising on the IP and TMT aspects of the acquisition of the P180 office building in Warsaw from Skanska Commercial Development Europe sp. z o.o.
- Stellantis: advising on the IP aspects of the acquisition of CloudMade, a developer of smart and innovative big data-driven automotive solutions.
- A leading Chinese technology company: advising on the IP and TMT aspects of acquiring Poland-based game studios.
- Airbus Defence and Space SAS and Airbus DS Geo SA: negotiation of an agreement with the Polish Armament Agency for the sale of two observation satellites.

- Education
Marcelina graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw, and she gained the Diploma in English and Legal Skills from the British Law Centre organised in cooperation with the University of Cambridge and Juris Angliae Scientia.
Marcelina additionally completed studies in the modern technologies law at Kozminski University in Warsaw. Furthermore, she is a graduate of the IP Law Summer School organised by University of Geneva and World Intellectual Property Organization, as well as IP Law Summer School organised by the Jagiellonian University. She has also completed various courses on IP, IT and AI matters.
