After training at and working for another City law firm, Mahul worked as an in-house lawyer at the OFT (general consumer and consumer credit). Following this, he was in the FCA's General Counsel's Division for a number of years advising across the FCA's functions except enforcement before returning to private practice with AG. At AG Mahul has provided support to banking and building society clients across their range of consumer credit products, including advising on new propositions. He has also worked closely with many other types of clients notably motor finance clients where Mahul has been involved in updating customer terms and condition relating to a range of finance products.
