Magdalena is a Polish qualified lawyer (adwokat) specialising in corporate and commercial law. She focuses on advising on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, private equity transactions, joint ventures and restructurings. She has extensive experience in advising Polish and international investors from a number of business sectors, including financial services, telecoms, healthcare, real estate and industrials. 

Work highlights*

• Advising Cerberus Capital Management on the PLN 1bn acquisition of VeloBank, a leading bank in Poland, from the Bank Guarantee Fund.
• Advising Oaktree Capital Management and Cornerstone Investment Management a on the sale of a majority stake in two Polish companies from the financial services sector: ProService Finteco sp. z o.o., a leading provider of financial services and tech solutions to investment funds, banks, and insurance companies; and Investment Funds Depositary Services S.A., a brokerage house providing depositary services for closed-end investment funds to Innova Capital.
• Advising Signal Capital Partners, a private asset management firm, acting as the preferred equity partner, on the joint venture with Ghelamco, followed by €280m sale of the Warsaw UNIT office building by Ghelamco to Eastnine AB. 
• Advising InfraVia Capital Partners, a private equity firm specialised in the infrastructure and technology sector, on the acquisition of 50% of Polski Światłowód Otwarty sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of the Play Group, one of Poland's leading fixed, digital TV and mobile convergent players, for ap. €400m. 
• Advising MM Packaging GmbH on its acquisition of Essentra plc's pharma packaging business for £312m through auction process.
