Expertise

Tristan is an Associate in AG's corporate and M&A team in Muscat, Oman. He obtained a Juris Doctor degree from the University of New South Wales in 2015 and was admitted as a lawyer in Australia in 2016.

Tristan has worked on commercial transactions in Europe and Australia. Prior to joining Addleshaw Goddard, he specialised in cross-border transactions at a leading international law firm in Prague, the Czech Republic. Tristan has experience advising private equity and venture capital clients, and has worked on deals in the tech, energy (including renewable), pharmaceutical and finance sectors, among others. He has also worked extensively with insurers on the placement of warranty and indemnity insurance in the context of M&A transactions.

Experience

Advised Advent International on the acquisition of Zentiva, a leading CEE pharmaceutical company, for EUR 1.9 billion and the subsequent bolt-on acquisition of Alvogen's CEE business
Advised a group of investors, including Partech, Quadrille Capital, Index Ventures, J&T Bank and the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, on a series B and series C fundraising for Rohlik.cz, one of Europe's leading online grocery businesses, with an investment value of EUR 290 million
Advised PPF, a Czech based private equity group, on the acquisition of Robertson & Caine, a South African catamaran manufacturer
Advised an Icelandic bank on the disposal of Czech real estate assets to a German international retail chain
Advised a Canadian pension fund on the restructure and consolidation of an international engineering and lithium extraction business
