Expertise

Rachael is a Counsel in the Dubai corporate team and has experience advising large corporates, financial institutions, private equity houses and PLCs on a variety of corporate transactions, including MBOs, minority and majority investments, mergers and acquisitions, corporate re-organisations, joint ventures and disposals, including specific experience in the financial services and retail and consumer space. Rachael has spent time on secondment at BT Plc and PZ Cussons. Prior to joining the Dubai team, Rachael worked in the AG Manchester office for several years.

advising Kent Group, global engineering service provider on its acquisitions of Sudlows Consulting, a Dubai headquartered design and engineering firm specialising in data centres.
advising Waha Capital, and Abu Dhabi-listed investment management company on the sale of integrated logistic assets in Almarkaz to Aldar, a government owned real estate development company for AED 530 million.
advising Aldar Education, a leading education provider in the UAE, on their partnership with Rugby School
advising Cognita Group, and global school’s group on the acquisition of Al Ain English Speaking School
advising Effecta Compliance, a UAE and UK compliance advisory business, on its disposal to ACA Group, a US private equity backed governance, risk, and compliance advisor in financial services.
advising Clarity Consulting Solutions, a UAE based regulatory and compliance services provider to Ocorian, a provider of fund administration capital markets and compliance services.
advising Ghobash Group, a privately owned business conglomerate in the UAE, on its acquisition of a turn-key provider for healthcare facilities.
advising a BitOasis, a MENA cryptocurrency platform on its sale to CoinDCX, an Indian listed cryptocurrency exchange.
advising a Dubai property management company on the investment into it by a Malaysia listed group.
advising the Co-operative Group on its GBP 400m disposal of 132 petrol stations to Asda.
advising BT plc on its disposal of its fibre-optic city networks in Germany to 1&1 Versatel, a subsidiary of United Internet AG.
advising PZ Cussons plc on the strategic disposal of three of their European businesses, including the disposal of its dairy business to FreislandCampina.
