Mel joined our employment team in 2021. Mel advises on contentious and non-contentious issues, providing practical and commercially focussed solutions. Her experience includes:
- Defending employer clients in Employment Tribunal claims for unfair dismissal and discrimination
- Advising clients on day-to-day employment queries including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies and ill-health
- Drafting service agreements, consultancy agreements and employee handbooks
- Advising on senior executive exits and drafting and negotiating settlement agreements
- Advising clients on breaches of post-termination restrictive covenants including pre-action enforcement
