Mel joined our employment team in 2021. Mel advises on contentious and non-contentious issues, providing practical and commercially focussed solutions. Her experience includes: 

  • Defending employer clients in Employment Tribunal claims for unfair dismissal and discrimination
  • Advising clients on day-to-day employment queries including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies and ill-health
  • Drafting service agreements, consultancy agreements and employee handbooks
  • Advising on senior executive exits and drafting and negotiating settlement agreements
  • Advising clients on breaches of post-termination restrictive covenants including pre-action enforcement
