Maura Connolly receives Patent of Precedence and appointment as Senior Counsel by the Government of Ireland
The Irish Government announced on 8 July 2026 that Maura Connolly, Partner and Head of Employment at Addleshaw Goddard was among those granted Patents of Precedence and the title of Senior Counsel under the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015.
Patents of Precedence are granted under the terms of the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015 by the Government, on the advice of the Advisory Committee on the grant of Patents of Precedence.
Commenting on the award, Maura Connolly, Partner and Head of Employment said: "Employment law is a dynamic and evolving area, and I have been fortunate to advise organisations and individuals on some of the most complex workplace issues facing employers today. I remain committed to delivering the highest standards of legal advice and advocacy, and to supporting clients as they navigate an increasingly challenging regulatory and employment landscape.
