Expertise

Louise is a Managing Associate in the Structured Finance and Securitisation practice.  Louise has experience advising on a wide range of corporate financings including forward flow transactions, securitisations, debt capital markets and project financings. Louise also has experience advising leading hedge fund and private equity fund managers on the full life cycle of investment funds, as well as acting as LP advisory and investor counsel. 

Prior to joining Addleshaw Goddard, Louise was deputy general counsel of the legal team at a private asset management company where she led the negotiation and execution of investment transactions across the company investment portfolio.

Experience

Louise's experience includes advising:

  • UK Asset Resolution, together with HM Treasury and Treasury Legal Advisers, in relation to the sale and securitisation of certain legacy mortgage portfolios
  • UK challenger banks and specialist lenders on forward flow programmes for bridging loans, development finance loans and car rental lease receivables
  • private investors on venture capital investments from seed to late stage, including in relation to investor rights, exit strategies, shareholder buybacks and corporate governance 
  • UK and US hedge fund and private equity fund managers, trustees, administrators and investors in relation to complex international fund structures
  • leading international banks and corporate issuers on the establishment, updates and issuances under various EMTN retail and institutional programmes
  • Infrastructure and Projects Authority on the issue of an HMT guaranteed bond for the financing of university accommodation in the UK
  • in connection with an infrastructure financing featuring the first wrapped bonds issued under the UK Infrastructure Guarantee programme.
