Annie joined Addleshaw Goddard LLP as a trainee solicitor in September 2007 and qualified into the Manchester Restructuring department in September 2009. Annie moved permanently to the London Restructuring team in April 2011. 

Following a nine month secondment in 2015 to Nationwide Building Society, Annie was promoted to Managing Associate. Annie has recently completed an 11 month secondment to Lloyds Bank plc within its Commercial Banking Legal Debt Products Team, where her main focus was to provide legal support to the Large Corporate BSU team.

Annie has a broad practice area in the restructuring and insolvency arena. 

Annie advises funds, corporates, lenders and insolvency practitioners on a wide range of banking and financial transactions including acquisitions, restructuring and disposals - at all stages of the cycle. Core sectors include real estate, hospitality and the public sector. 

Whilst on secondment, Annie would advise the Bank’s stakeholders and business support teams across the country on restructuring, enforcement and security. With experience in-house for two commercial banks, Annie is able to offer a practical and pragmatic approach in guiding transactions effectively and efficiently to completion.

Recent experience includes:

  • advising on a multi-million pound dispute between telecommunication providers;
  • the solvent disposal of a number of portfolios of hotels on behalf of a US Private Equity investor with a combined value of over £500m; and 
  • advising a lender in relation to a substantial equity raise and restructuring of a large PLC customer.
  • Annie has a strong professional network and built solid client relationships whilst on secondment. Her clients include Lloyds Bank, Nationwide and BDO.
