Expertise

Cameron is an Associate in our Construction & Engineering team in London.  He trained at our London office, and in addition to his Construction & Engineering experience, he has also obtained relevant transferable skills during his time as a trainee in our Commercial Disputes team and our Infrastructure, Projects & Energy team.

As part of a wider team, Cameron has experience working with a range of clients on complex domestic and international disputes through all major forms of dispute resolution including arbitration (domestic, ICC and LMAA), litigation and adjudication.

Experience
  • Acting for the Employer in an ICC arbitration with combined claims relating to quantum and delay with a value of more than US$1.5bn, under a FIDIC-style contract relating to a major transport project in the Middle East.
  • Acting for a state-owned oil company in an ICC arbitration relating to the development of an oil field in North Africa with claims in excess of US$1.25 billion.
  • Acting for the Owner of a luxury yacht in an LMAA arbitration commenced by the Charterer following the allegedly unlawful early termination of the Charter Agreement.
  • Advising a contractor in an ad hoc domestic arbitration for its claims against two sub-contractors for defects, damages and fire safety issues arising from the design and installation of a window wall curtain walling system.
