Peter is a highly experienced commercial real estate specialist with particular expertise in dealing with development, public sector work, occupational and investment work, sales and purchases, and landlord and tenant issues. He also acts on the real estate aspects of private-public partnership, (PPP/PFI) and corporate transactions.

His clients include infrastructure and property companies such as Fulcrum Infrastructure Group, Kajima, Dandara, Manhattan Lofts and HUB Group and other clients such as Volkswagen Group, Canada Life and Semperian as well as private and public authorities, including a number of universities.

Peter has particular expertise in the property healthcare sector, dealing with development and investments. He acts on third party development schemes and has done numerous NHS LIFT projects from the outset of the programme.

He acts for a number of plc clients on property portfolio management issues such as new leases and lease renewals on industrial, commercial and office premises as well as taking a proactive and constructive support role in corporate transactions. He also acts for developers and development funders.

In addition, Peter is joint lead of the firm's Housing Sector group and has a large practice in the residential development sector, primarily acting for developers and funders. He is heavily involved in developments in the build to rent sector.

Peter is a member of the BPF Devlopment Committee. He is also Chairman of the firm's Professional Practice and Risk Committee. He is also the author of the chapter on real estate aspects of corporate transactions in the last three editions of the Company Acquisition Handbook published by Bloomsbury.
